Museum pass Istanbul allows you to access major museums in all over the city for 3 or 5 days.

Museum pass Istanbul is valid for 5 days for 85 tl (formerly there were two options, one is valid for 3 days, other is valid for 3 days)  and covers museums such as; Hagia Sophia Museum, Topkapı Palace Museum and Harem Section, Istanbul Archaeological Museums, Istanbul Mosaic Museum, Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, Museum for the History of Science and Technology in Islam, Chora Museum, Galata Mevlevi House Museum, Yıldız Palace, Rumeli Hisar Museum, Fethiye Museum. The pass allows you to enter the museums without buying a ticket or waiting in line. The validity period begins with your first visit. It can be used in each museum only once.

The Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, and the Museum for the History of Science and Technology in Islam aren’t as popular, so if you also won’t visit them, there is no financial advantage.The main point to buy Museum Pass Istanbul is, it allows you no-queue access to mentioned museums. In high season, ticket queues grow longer and buying a ticket may take up to an hour in popular museums.

Topkapi Palace, Istanbul Archaeological Museum, Hagia Sophia, Mosaic Museum, and Museum for Islamic Science and Technology are all walkable distance to each other in Sultanahmed Region, when planning your trip keep in mind to spend your limited days more efficiently.

Also bear in mind that Museum Pass Istanbul doesn’t cover some reputable museums such as Dolmabahce Palace and Basilica Cistern.
